My Approach: AFFIRMING & EMPATHIC

We often find ourselves stuck in old patterns that no longer serve us. This can lead to feelings of restlessness, uncertainty, resentment, and loneliness. You may crave to feel seen and valued for all that you are. Perhaps you seek a sense of love and security. I am proud of you for taking the steps to heal.

I view the therapeutic relationship as the foundation of healing. I hold a safe space by leading with curiosity, empathy, humor, and compassion. I will meet you with patience wherever you are on your journey and will not push you towards quick fixes. I aim to gently explore your story by looking at your past, environments, relationships, and hopes and values. We will identify sources that interfere with your path towards self-fulfillment, create collaborative goals that will help you live authentically, and cultivate internal safety.

Coming from South Asian immigrants, I know the challenges associated with intergenerational trauma, disconnection, and the search for identity. With my own commitment to

growth and healing, these challenges have equipped me with deep appreciation for the resiliency among us. Throughout our time together, my role is to foster empowerment within you.

I find joy in supporting teens and adults of all backgrounds as they navigate a range of concerns. As a QPOC therapist, I have a special passion for working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and communities of color. My treatment modalities are rooted in a culturally affirming and trauma–informed lens, utilizing a person-centered and psychodynamic orientation. I will honor the unique individual you are by catering my therapeutic approach to best fit your needs.

Wherever you are on your journey, you do not have to face it alone.
