Therapy fees and other frequently asked questions (FAQs)
How long is a therapy session?
Typically, therapy appointments are 50 minutes long.
I also offer Diving Deep therapy sessions that are 75 minutes.
How often do I go to therapy?
I recommend meeting once a week so we can jump right in and really dig in to working on your goals. Depending on your needs, sometimes it’s appropriate to meet every other week, instead of weekly. As you progress, we can reduce sessions to monthly appointments or to less frequent “tune ups” to support and maintain your progress.
What is the fee?
My fee is $120 per 50 minute therapy hour. (Ask me about reimbursement for out-of-network coverage.) I also accept Victims of Crime compensation, and I maintain a limited number of sliding scale appointments based on income level.
Arielle Grossman and Seija Zimmerman are MFT Registered Interns who work in my practice. They offer reduced fees that range from $50-80 per 50 minute therapy session. The fee is determined between between the client and their therapist based on income level and financial need. Arielle and Seija also accept Victims of Crime compensation. Unfortunately, insurances do not cover therapy with Registered Interns.
How can I pay?
We accept cash, check or credit card for payment at the beginning of session.
