“If I could give you any gift, it would be to see yourself through my eyes.” This is a quote I hold near and dear to my heart, as well as one I find myself living and standing by, both in and out of the therapy room. I do my best to shed light on my client’s strengths, so that they can live life as their most authentic selves. I find it easy to empathize with and empower others and apply this in both my personal and professional life.
I would describe my approach to therapy as strength-based and collaborative, taking tools from several different models, in order to cater to the person in front of me and meet you where you are. Although I may be considered the expert in the room, you are the expert of your life. Therefore, I will do my best to pick up what you put down and act as a guide to assist you in areas of your life where you’re struggling.
I believe success happens within the relationship. Therefore, it is important to create a foundation that caters to you so you can successfully reach your goals, while simultaneously having a safe space to give you a voice and choice. Lastly, I believe having and keeping an open mind, as well as staying curious, are key aspects to thriving and surviving in therapy and in life!

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento in 2014. I then went on to earn my Master of Arts in Marital and Family Therapy from Alliant International University in 2017. Throughout my time in graduate school, I provided individual, family, and group psychotherapy to children and families in a charter school setting and then went on to work at a non-profit agency serving youth and families in the home, school, and community settings after receiving my Master’s degree.
