I became a therapist because I was able to personally experience the power of therapy. My experience has allowed me to witness the resiliency of the human spirit, the ability we all share to grow and thrive, and the impact of having a guide along the way. It is not often that one is able to be really, truly heard. I know that everyone has their own story and that every story deserves to be heard. Your life matters!
As a therapist, I want to hear your story, and I want to be the guide that helps you on that path toward healing. I believe that having a non-judgmental, caring, and safe space where one can share their experience is key to therapy. In fact, research even shows that the supportive relationship developed between the client and therapist is the biggest key to healing!
If you choose to work with me in therapy, you can expect that we will work at your own pace. I will be a guide that helps you on your path to find your inner strength, happiness, and peace.

EDUCATION & experience
I began my education at California State University, Sacramento where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. I then earned my Master’s degree in Counseling-Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Long Beach. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work with adults, adolescents, and school-aged children. I have had the opportunity to work with people ranging from at-risk adolescents to women in transitional housing, and I am experienced in treating anxiety, depression, grief, self-harm, and low self-esteem. I care deeply about helping teens and members of the Latino/a community, and I offer therapy in English and in Spanish.
More about me
I love to travel and to learn about and experience different cultures, history, and traditions around the world. One of the most impactful and memorable places I’ve visited is the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam. I also enjoy spending time with my loved ones and my two dogs during my free time. I’m a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) myself and am grateful to help other HSPs in their journey.
